Travelling the road will tell you more about the road than the google will tell you about the road.
The day ( 28th Feb) I met my favourite hero Mr. Amitabh Bachchan
I have been watching his movies from my childhood days. He continues to be my favourite hero, who inspired me in many ways. I used to listen to his songs, collect postcards, posters and his photos from the newspaper.
I remember that day when I landed to Mumbai and stood outside his home on his birthday, but the rush of other fans robbed me of the chance to see/meet my favourite star.
I waited waited and waited and then finally got the chance to see him. I did not click many pictures of him as I was saving all the memories of that moment through my eyes 🙂
As it’s a well-known fact that yesterday was Mr. Narendra Modi- OUR NEW PM oath ceremony where he promised to serve the nation and its people.
This ceremony was not just covered on all leading new channels however there were many projectors, TV systems installed at railways stations and other places so that the local janta could watch the oath being taken by the man they have all mutually elected as their leader. Kudos to all for making this possible for those that were unable to sit in front of their television sets at home.
Sadly, on reaching Kandivali station the oath ceremony was almost completed and our national anthem had begun. I was standing with the crowd paying respect to our National Anthem and noticed that many people were busy with their own life’s. It was indeed shocking to see how people cannot give 5 minutes of their life to show their respect and gratitude for our nation but have the time to talk and surf on their phones or arguing with the autowallas etc. What shocked me further was the fact that despite seeing people standing in gratitude for our National Anthem many choose to just walk away..!!
It has been installed since our alma mater, that no matter whatever the situation we must always show our respect on hearing our national anthem. The disrespect is also commonly seen in movie halls where people simply ignore and use this time to chat/play around and pass comments while the anthem plays in the background.
If we the current generation shows no respect for our nation and its anthem then we shouldn’t be the ones hoping for a change.
Hawaon pe likh do, Hawaon ke naam

The lack of Sunlight (not complaining), The Sand and The Rain made it all worth it..!!!
It was my first trip to Goa with my amigos. This trip was planned almost 4 months in advance. The Primary agenda of the trip was to have loads of fun with the true flavor of Goa, enjoy the endless stretch of beaches, soaking in the sun and sand quite literally. Apart from that, we also wanted to do the touristy things; visiting of churches, shopping etc. Many of my friends were opposed to going during the Monsoon on the pretext that there is nothing much to do during the rains; however we still made it and no regrets whatsoever.
We began our day by zipping through the coast during the day and were totally mesmerized by the view- lush green fields, towering palms and not to forget THE BEACHES..!!. It’s hard to enjoy driving in the rains in my city however this was thoroughly enjoyed here in GOA. There is something totally mesmerizing about GOA and has as a very welcoming feel to it, no matter where you are from, you feel you belong here. The best thing is that we could park where we wanted. A line that comes to mind, “No one can ever go hungry or thirsty in Goa” and how true it was..! When hunger or thirst struck us, there was an endless choice of food joints to choose from and they were absolutely pocket friendly. Due to the torrential rains, it was difficult to click photographs and made it difficult to carry our “materialistic friends” i.e. Mobiles, wallets, cameras but thanks to our protective gear. We explored the length and breadth of Goa, making pit stops at various food joints and yes the beaches. Last but definitely not the least, we visited the hyped “Casino Pride”. What can I say!! It stands true to its name. It was not just an awesome experience but a dream come true.
Monsoon isn’t the best time to be in Goa, SAID WHO?? If you may ask my opinion, I would say, Monsoon is also the best time to be in Goa because the it’s the rains which make the beaches all the more beautiful add to it the mesmerizing climate, the cool breeze and the bright clean greenery around.

A complete flashback of sorts while penning this down. To sum it up, it was one of the best holidays I’ve had with some awesome friends and the lovely Goan’s. The time spent there was truly exhilarating and this is one vacay that will not be forgotten ever.

It was an official trip to Pune and there I clicked some of the images of the Pune city. I love one thing about Pune city is that the city is in touch with old and precious monument and there is a sense of relaxation whenever you enter in Pune.
Visited kwality Restaurant on East Street which set shop way back in 1956. Needless to say, this place has many firsts to its credit. The ambiance of the restaurant was good, and the interior design of the restaurant was in touch with old scripts and designs.
Passing by Pune I managed to clicked some more photos keeping the old theme in mind 🙂
16 April 1853 was the historic date when India’s first passenger train journey took place between Bori Bunder in Mumbai and Thane. Covering a distance of 34 kilometres, it was hauled by three locomotives, Sahib, Sindh, and Sultan.
Google is commemorating that momentous event with a celebratory doodle on its India home page. The India’s first passenger train journey shows a steam locomotive pulling a passenger train on a palm-lined railway track.
Travelling by mumbai local and celebrating Indian Railways 160th anniversary. The above photo is clicked while travelling.
Today I am hearing news of Rape in every city, every village of this country! Its not a Delhi issue! Its a NATIONAL ISSUE. Today we stand together to show the unity. We all are against the rape, we all are protesting against this, we want a law which can give justice to women, we want safety, we don’t want to live our life in a fear, we want capital punishment for the rapists in wake of the Delhi Gang Rape case, and overall WE WANT JUSTICE. We are protesting peacefully then why Police launched water canons, and why tear gas in the ground , why lathi charge on the protesters. Had we done some crime, had we destroyed some of the public monument, had we destroyed public feature. NO we haven’t because we are the public, we are united and today we all are standing against this.
Some news channel flashing up the news “unorganized crowd protesting outside Rashtrapati Bhavan ” sorry we are not unorganized crowd we are united people , At least we are organised in our views and in our demands.
From Tear Gas to Lathi Charge,We’ve bear it all..From Jamming Roads to Yelling at the top of our voices,We’ve done it all..From the inhuman police to this atrocious government,We’ve fought them all..India is standing United for this cause..it’s a War,a declaration against the animals who are roaming free in our societies..
